From Brewster McCloud - surprisingly found on Ten ($40 plain cotton) Undies reference blog. I have not seen this movie in many years although I did record the opening credits (Lift every voice and sing!) off YouTube for a mix CD a while back.  There are two surprising things about Shelley and Bud in these movie. First of all, Shelley is even more endearing in this one than she is in Bernice Bobs Her Hair.


Second, Bud is really shockingly ripped, as exhibited in the numerous scenes where he is shirtless and does pull-ups.

Swetlana Geier, born in Kiev 1923, translator of Russian literature into German. Most notably she substituted the more technical "Verbrechen und Strafe" for the formerly accepted "Schuld und Sühne."
